Pritzker Refuses to Condemn Streamer Who Said America Deserved 9/11
Illinois Governor JB Pritzker is refusing to condemn Hasan Piker, the online streamer who said America deserved 9/11 and America is worse than t*rrorists.
During a tense interview, ABC pressed Pritzker directly. The question was simple. Is it time for Democrats to point blank say, we have nothing to do with this guy, we denounce him, and don’t want his support?

Pritzker did not answer. He ducked.
He said he is not focused on streamers. He said they have big followings and a lot of views. He said the real focus should be stopping Donald Trump and advancing an agenda for the vulnerable, the workers, and the middle class.
He called that the reason he is a Democrat and the reason the Democratic Party exists.
So the governor was asked again. Would he accept Piker’s support?
Again, Pritzker said he is not focused. He did not want to talk about it. Then he said Hasan Piker means nothing to him or to his election.
This is a dodge, and it is a revealing one. A reporter gave Pritzker a clean opportunity to reject someone who has said one of the most anti-American things imaginable. The governor refused.
Piker did not make a minor gaffe. He said America deserved the attacks that killed thousands of innocent civilians. He repeated the line that America is a bigger t*rrorist force than t*rrorists. He even suggested it would be better if Iran had a nuclear weapon.
Those are not policy disagreements. Those are attacks on the country itself.
And JB Pritzker, the governor of Illinois, would not condemn them.
Instead, he pivoted to Trump. Pritzker is extremely good at attacking Trump. It is all he does. But when asked to say one sentence about a man who celebrates the murder of Americans, the governor suddenly had nothing to say.
This is not an isolated problem in the Democratic Party. Democrats have been platforming Hasan Piker for years. He has campaigned with candidates in Michigan. He wore a full Mao Zedong suit at a College Democrats convention. And now, when a mainstream network finally asks a statewide elected Democrat to reject him, the answer is silence dressed up as focus.
Pritzker wants to talk about stopping Trump. He does not want to talk about a man who thinks America deserved September 11.
That is not leadership. That is cowardice.
If Piker truly means nothing, then saying he is a disgrace should be easy. Pritzker never said it. He never rejected the substance of Piker’s claims. He never said those views have no place in Democratic circles.
In the transcript, there is not one sentence where Pritzker says Piker is wrong about 9/11 or wrong about t*rrorists. Not one.
A governor of a major American state sat for an interview and could not bring himself to say that a man who celebrates an attack on our country is unfit for his party’s support.
Conservatives should not be surprised. This is what happens when a party spends years courting online left-wing influencers. It becomes impossible to denounce them when the cameras are rolling.
Pritzker’s evasion is the real story. He had a chance to draw a bright line between Democrats and anti-American rhetoric. He chose not to.
That choice tells voters everything they need to know.
